What Panama Immigration requires for translations

The National Immigration Service states that every document must be in Spanish; otherwise, it must be translated by an authorized public translator, with reference to the resolution that authorizes them as a translator of the Republic of Panama (Immigration FAQ, in Spanish). That is exactly what we deliver as an official translator in Panama: an official translation, also called certified translation or sworn translation in Panama (here they are the same), signed and sealed.

In addition, documents issued abroad must be apostilled, or authenticated by the Panamanian consulate in the issuing country and by Panama's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Apostille first, then translate (see apostille and translation). If you also need Panamanian documents for use abroad, we provide Spanish to English translation in Panama.
